Top Ad$ense earners
Google's Adsense provides a simple mechanism for generating advertisement based revenue from web pages. John Chow has the latest roundup of top Adsense earners. Notice that the top earner does it all by himself!
I think the reason that the fish site gets so much money from adsense is ugliness. Like no one wants to actually stay on that site, and would rather click on adsense ads than endure another moment...
Then again, if that were true, Myspace would be making billions upon billions...
What surprises me is how sparse the ads on this site are. They only show up on a few pages. I must say that google's ads are by far the most friendly; only text, non-obtrusive. It is a very ugly site though, I agree. Pretty != money?
